Johnson, Bert Williams, Lucille Bogan, Memphis Minnie, Memphis Jug Band, Beale Street Sheiks, Blind Willie Johnson, Golden Gate Quartet & Lincoln ‘Stepin Fetchit’ Perry to add proper source material context.

Spoken Word & Performance Poetry The Antecedents To U.S. Rap(Rhyme) Cultures

We discuss the effects of the Martin Luther King Jr. assassination on the performance poetry/spoken word community in the 1960s. We use poems/music created by Maya Angelou, Oscar Brown Jr., Melvin Van Peebles, The Last Poets, Gil Scott-Heron & Amiri Baraka and there trailblazing creative styles that sets the stage for the form of poetry that we know as Rap.

Police Officers vs Race Soldiers Ep.4

We discuss the Torrance, Ca internal investigation/probe of a suspected racist police text ring. Over 90 cases involving a total of 15 Torrance, Ca Police Officers have been reevaluated/dropped. We use reports of Christopher Dorner manifesto and LAPD Sheriff’s department Gang called ‘The Executioners’. We also play clips of Neely Fuller Jr being interviewed on Black Talk Radio’s podcast titled The Context Of White Supremacy(The C.O.W.S.) hosted by Gus T. Renegade.
